Muhalabia with Honey

Give your kids this healthy easy to prepare traditional dessert after lunch.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes approximately
Cooking Time: 25minutes approximately
Serves: 4 persons

All you need

7 cups milk prepared from al alali Full Cream Milk Powder
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup al alali Corn Flour
2 tbsps. orange blossom water
1 tbsp. rose water
1/2 cup pistachio (grated)
1/2 cup peeled sliced almond
Rose jam
1 cup pure honey

Directions

  • Boil 6 cups of milk in a deep pot. Add sugar and stirring continuously
  • Dissolve al alali Corn Flour in remaining 1 cup of cold milk
  • Add the mixture of corn starch and milk to the boiled milk stirring continuously until thick
  • Add orange blossom water and rose water
  • Pour Muhalabia into bowls while hot
  • Decorate with pistachio, almonds and rose jam with honey on top
  • Serve hot or chilled and enjoy
