Preparation time: 30 minute | Serves: 8 | Level: Easy


3 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
Pinch of salt
2 cups sesame seeds


Preheat the panggangan to 180 C.

Knead butter, flour and sugar with hands until you get soft dough.

Cut dough into small walnut-sized pieces, then flatten to form a 2 inch round cookie.

Put sesame in a large tray.

Dip one side of the cookie into sesame.

Arrange barazek on a baking sheet with the sesame side up.

Bake in preheated panggangan forĀ  15 minutes or until golden brown.

Take out of the panggangan and let it cool completely, then serve.
